Refund policy

Every Everstory Studio order is made to order. Each sticker sheet is custom designed and hand cut as soon as your order arrives. To keep our turnaround fast, we begin work within one business day. Please review this policy carefully before ordering — because production starts immediately, most Everstory orders are not eligible for a traditional 30-day return.
CANCELLATION
You can cancel for a full refund any time before we begin printing — typically within one business day of your order. Email studio.everstory@gmail.com as soon as possible.
Once printing starts, the order cannot be refunded. The work is yours.
ORDER DETAILS YOU PROVIDE
At checkout, you upload your photograph(s) and share details that matter — name for the header, any specific request (a face we should not crop, a tone you prefer, a detail we should keep crisp). The more specific your notes, the closer the result matches your expectation. We work directly from what you provide; we do not send a mockup for approval.
If your photograph genuinely cannot be used (too low resolution, too blurry to cut around), we will email you before we begin. In that case you can replace the photo or cancel for a full refund.
DAMAGES AND ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Email studio.everstory@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with a clear photo of the issue. We do not accept physical returns — once we verify the issue from your photo, we reprint and reship at no cost (or refund per the REFUNDS section below).
Do not mail items back; mailed-back items are discarded and not processed.
EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Certain types of items cannot be returned. The following are non-returnable:
- All Everstory Studio sticker sheets — they are custom, made-to-order products built from a photograph you provide (custom and personalized items are non-returnable under standard retail practice)
- Returns based on personal preference about how the photograph turned out — your checkout notes are the moment to be specific (see ORDER DETAILS YOU PROVIDE)
- Sale items and gift cards
Damaged or defective items are covered separately under DAMAGES AND ISSUES.
EXCHANGES
We do not exchange items based on personal preference. If your sheet has a verified print or cutting defect, we will reprint and reship at no cost — this is a replacement, not an exchange. The fastest way to receive a different design is to place a separate new order; if a refund is appropriate it will follow the REFUNDS section below.
LOST IN TRANSIT
Canada Post lettermail does not include tracking. If your sheet has not arrived 14 business days after shipping confirmation, email studio.everstory@gmail.com. We will reprint and reship one replacement at no cost. Lost replacements are evaluated case by case.
LOCAL PICKUP
If you selected Toronto Studio Pickup, your order is held for 30 days from the "ready for pickup" email. Orders not picked up within 30 days are not refunded but can still be claimed.
AGE & SAFETY
Everstory sticker sheets are decorative photo products, not a toy and not a children's product. They are not suitable for children under 3 (choking hazard from small peelable die-cut parts) and require adult supervision for any child under 14. Even when the photograph features a child, the finished sheet is intended for adult handling. Damage or injury caused by use outside this guidance is not eligible for refund or reprint.
EUROPEAN UNION 14 DAY COOLING OFF PERIOD
Everstory Studio currently ships across Canada and does not ship to the European Union. The EU 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to current orders. If we expand to EU markets in the future, this policy will be updated and EU-specific consumer rights will apply at that time.
REFUNDS
When a refund is approved — cancellation before printing, an unusable photograph we cannot work from, or a verified defect we decide to refund instead of reprint — we will notify you and refund automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
